first, just a reminder, i still have my timed edition art print and tshirts preselling til tomorrow night.

also, quick question for all of you out there. obviously i should have gotten my life together before yesterday but alas, that is not the case. while getting my Welcome Home III: 5000 Miles of Social Distance Edition ready to print, and I noticed something.

In my original drawings, this piece had more artwork on both sides, designed for an 18x24” print. for some reason, i decided, way back when, to make it 16x24” instead probably because i didn’t care about making things easy to frame. i was a rebel. an loner. Thus Welcome Home I: The Phantom Moonace Edition was 16x24”.

CUT TO a few years later, when we decided to make Welcome Home 2: Brushfire Boogalo Edition - dusted off the poster files, and for some heaven help us reason, i decided to make it 17x25”. what on God’s Green Earth was i thinking? i cannot imagine. but there it is.

so, cut to present day, i am at a crossroads (which is appropriate considering tomorrow is easter). do i make the poster the original 16x24” size? do i outdo W2’s weird size and make it 19x30? or do we embrace the original intent and go with 18x24”, give everyone a little more artwork, make it a bit more accessible for framing?

that’s where you (the viewer, all two of you come in. i put together a survey (or at least tried to, who knows if it works), if you have a moment to fill it out, give me some of your insights, i’d appreciate it. won’t take much to sway me either way, i would prefer to go with the 18x24” version since it looks cool to me, but hey, maybe people are super into 16x24”. either way, i appreciate any input i can get. here’s a zoom view just to embiggen these bad boys.
